enjoying the pieces

Robert Frost talked of taking the Road less traveled
Christ spoke of a narrow path
one that few would follow
roadside bloom

roadside bloom

well… I can hereby tell you..
the road is indeed narrow
and there are far fewer folks wandering it than I had imagined
but
it’s worth it all the same
and in the sufferings of Lyme,
Babesia, Bartonella, Hashimoto’s, POTS, HHV6, mycroplasma fermentens
and the oodles of what ever they haven’t figured out we HAVE yet..
can make it feel a bit lonelier than perhaps it is

funny shroom

 yet along the way,

we have found delightful things to make us smile, giggle and ponder life anew

but only when we are willing to walk slow

talk softly

and take a peek at the walk we are walking

sweet 'shroom

only when we are willing to stop and notice the world around us..

because sometimes

there aren’t any roses to smell..

sometimes lifes beauty is different all together

but lovely all the same

roadside bloom

have you stopped lately

stopped complaining,

stopped the rushing?

stopped and just pondered

the days are going by quickly,

there ARE only so many we all get..

and each only 24 hours a piece

have you taken just a moment to enjoy a piece of this one?
